My connection to the tcp bulbs are failing daily, requiring me to log in through smartthings - labs- tcp and re connect. I will look at the script. - thanks
I am no expert with Autoinput or Tasker (this was my first task using Autoinput) but here are a few observations.
- The āSmartThings Labsā entry must be seen in the Dashboard view in order to open it. If not, you need to make an Autoinput action to scroll down.
- Also, when selecting the Autoinput action select āElement Text: SmartThings Labsā.
- For me, I could only select the cog icon on the TCP Bulbs (Connect) icon if it the first icon on the screen.

Iāve got the exact same problem, I have to re-login to the TCP lab almost every day. The bulbs just randomly stop responding until I re-login. Any fixes from TCP or SmartThings?
This issue has been reported and weāve identified the problem. Iām working with TCP to get the fix in. Stay tunedā¦

I just got a message from SmartThings that they think this problem is fixed.
I will try letting it go 2 weeks without manually re-establishing connection to the TCP hub. If it goes that long, I think itās fixed.
I got this message too, I replied that it was working for me. However now it broke again. I reauthorized through TCP connect. I will update support if it happens again.
Mine has been working for 3 or 4 days now. Will report back if it breaks again. Would appreciate it if SmartThings would update everyone and anyone that has opened a support ticket on thisā¦
It failed overnight. I reset it, and will see how long it lasts.
Failed again. Works immediately after reauthorizing through connect. Last time I reauthorized was 7 days ago. I will update support.
Are you guys still having issues? For me it depends on the day! Right now itās working but last night it wasnāt.
Iāve had this issue pop up a few times. So far Iām at 19 days of nonstop working according to my last post in this thread. Reauthorizing connect seems to fix it when it was happening.
ST support informed me of another update that they did last week in another attempt to fix it.
I was away, so I continued to reset it each morning until today. Now I will see how it does without a daily reset.
It is now 7 days since I last reset the ST/TCP connection, with no recurrence of this problem, on my first ST hub. And a few days on my second hub.
I suggest that others with this problem see whether it is fixed.
Everyone elseās tcp lights working? Iāve been testing the fix for 3-4 weeks now and all is well.
Please contact support and tell them to close your support ticket if it works.
