I am having this problem now. Do you ever get yours fixed?
I have been having this problem for ever and its 2024 now!!!
My zigbee bulbs sometimes go offline for no reason and recover only with a power cycle to the bulb. Other nearby bulbs are fine. (maybe 1m away)
I could accept the interference hypothesis but why then would the bulbs not come back on line?
I dont get this issue with my hue bulbs.
You would have to provide some more information if you want us to help.
What version of the Hub do you have, and which Zigbee bulbs are going offline that you have to power cycle? Also, do you have enough powered Zigbee devices acting as repeaters. You mentioned not having problems with your Hue bulbs. Are these directly connected to your ST hub, or…
I have a V3 hub.
The bulbs are from Linkind and they are Zigbee.
I think there are plenty of Zigbee repeaters. I added a few zigbee smart sockets just in case, but that doesnt change anything.
The Hue lights are connected to a hue hub then integrated into smartthings.
I think this is just a “feature” of smartthings that some devices go offline from time to time. Its the failure to reconnect without a powercycle that is so annoying.
I have had zero problems with Zigbee or Z-Wave for the last few months! I have a few Sengled Zigbee bulbs that I haven’t touched in years, and they never go offline. Have you tried performing a Zigbee repair by removing the power from your hub for 30 minutes and then powering it back on? Is it just the Linkind bulbs? Try a different driver?
I have done this in the past but will give it another go. Resetting the hub wont fix it because I have unintentionally done this a few times lately because of power outages. I have had problems in the past with other devices just going off line but recently the main culprits are these bulbs.
Thank you for your suggestions.
OTOH, I had a bunch of devices fall offline today and the majority of them were Sengled Zigbee bulbs. The rest were singletons and both Zigbee and Z-Wave devices. I’m blaming the solar storms as the cause.
Especially annoying that there was one bulb out in each one of our ceiling fans. Although power cycling those is probably the easiest thing in the whole house, just flip the wall switch, it meant I had to go into almost every room to do it.
None of my Linkind bulbs, whether Zigbee or Matter Over Wi-Fi went offline. Not necessarily a testimonial to them, probably just one of those things. The Matter ones have been rock solid for the 6 months I’ve been using them, though.
No issues for me, Sengled bulbs still going without any issues.
