Smartthings app won't let me add Hub

I registered my Smartthings hub (2015 v2) years ago but never used it. I need to get it set up again but the app (new?) won’t let me add the hub. It says the welcome code is already registered and I need an invite from the owner. I’ve gone through several full factory resets but no joy. Model STH-STD-250.

I can supply the serial number, welcome code, pictures, etc. All this has already been given to the help desk, but it’s been 3 days and i’m guessing they have no idea how to fix it, but I see previous posts where you’ve helped people with the same issue, so hopefully you can help me. Thanks.

Give it another try. Seems one of the resets failed initially.
