As @swindmiller mentioned below that is the idea. Triggering a lot of things to happen based on a specific routine, which may or may not change the mode.

@kris i already have HH actions triggering these but sometimes i need to change them on the fly instead of on a time schedule. For example, I could be walking through the house at 11PM at night and all the lights go off; I would like to be able to turn lights back on again without having to go to each room and turn them on individually. Unfortunately, my action or routine to turn them on is far down on the list. its not a deal breaker but it would be good to be able to change the order.
it seems they are in alphabetical order so I added a “Z” to the name of the ones I want at the bottom…a bit inconvenient but a workaround.
or add an exclamation point in front of the ones you want at the top of the list.

I think I have to agree with this.
It seems like the Routines are a highlighted feature of this new app and are very powerful. Being able to only see 6 at a time (because they are so big) and not being able to order the important one’s at the top could be a problem.
Loving everything else about the app so far!

if you are adding feature requests, perhaps there can be settings for routines, such as a choice between icons and a list or a choice between small and large icons?
And while I am suggesting, please put in a request for better font contrast for Rooms and Things in My Home. It is difficult to see the faint, gray font against the white background. changing screen brightness doesn’t help.

Hi All. I just recently updated also to the new APP for my android phone. How would I add new routines and rooms? On the previous app, there were “gears” for adding and updating, now I do not see any.
Also, I no longer see Doprcam (Nest) Cameras as an option. Does this mean that smartthings no longer support this? Is there a way I can add them in? thanks
To create new routines you should have a 3 dot menu in the top right of that screen.

What phone? Is it rooted and running a custom dpi by chance?
Also, the menu button on most phones should also bring up the 3 dot menu, depending on phone.
It is an LG. Never had issues with thr old app. Not.sure about the dpi. What is it?
if you don’t know, you probably didn’t change it.

Are you using any custom themes or are you stock firmware? What firmware?
The 3 dot menu should be there, but the menu button at the bottom of the phone on screen or physical should also bring it up.
Open a ticket with support with the above details, I’m sure they can fix it.
If you made a backup, you may be able to do that. We would love your constructive feedback however so that we can improve the product.

Yes, the menu is now built in on the default phone screen. I should be able to do the adds and updates from there. I guess I won’t need that 3 dot menu. thanks for your help!
