Has it disappeared from the ‘Discover’ (compass icon) page too? I’d hope not.
I’m not seeing any issues in the app myself, but I can see that something has certainly been changed in one of the more obscure places in the API.

Thanks,
Yes it’s there and all my routines are there which is a relief.
I just noticed that I can’t edit a Smart lighting “rule” in Smart lighting. There is no edit option. I can change settings, but there is no active save button. Only cancel is active.
Also, all of the manually run routines created from my Smart lighting rules can’t be edited. And they don’t show any actions. I assume that they are just a link to the Smart lighting rules.
I guess this really means I need to recreate my Smart lighting rules as Automatic routines and get rid of Smart lighting. I have a light that keeps turning on and I finally found it in Smart lighting, but I can’t delete it from the rule because Save doesn’t work.
By the way, Scenes was a much better name!
That’s odd. When you open a rule’s settings in Smart Lighting you are on the Edit Lighting Routine page so that IS the ‘edit option’. Doesn’t the Save button become active when you’ve changed a setting?
Can you press and hold on them to delete them? I wouldn’t really expect anything useful to happen when you click on them as they aren’t supposed to be there.
Ideally whatever bug is causing this issue for what seems to be a small proportion of users needs fixing. What have Support had to say on the matter?
Dropping Smart Lighting might be the quicker option.
It still is. They are still Scenes everywhere but in the mobile apps.
They are already implemented as Rules. Ideally they would be migrated from the /scenes
endpoint in the public API to join the automatic Routines in the /rules
endpoint of the client API and the Scenes name could be dropped completely. They are already exclusively being managed by the client apps as if they are Routines.
They could then turn the ‘execute scene’ rule into an 'execute rule` rule and those of us using the Rules API could do a happy dance.
Ok, I might have described this a bit incorrectly. I can edit the Smart lighting rule in Smart lighting, but Save is never highlighted. I can make changes, but my only option is Cancel. I’ve started to recreate the Smart lighting rules (or whatever they are called) as Automatic routines because Smart lighting is not working like it used to. And when I have Smart lighting rules, I also wind up with manually run routines in the Android app, so not sure it’s worth continuing to use Smart lighting (although it did (does) have some logic that I don’t think it available in the Automatic Routines). Thanks.
