Hi Community,
I’m currently working on integrating the SIM-ON cloud dashboard with SmartThings Cloud, and I’ve encountered a specific issue I’d like your insights on.
The purpose of this integration is to enable data exchange across cloud platforms for the facility management solution.
ISSUE:
The integration between SmartThings and SIM-ON appears to be functioning, but only Samsung-branded devices are showing up on the SIM-ON dashboard.
Devices from other brands such as TP-Link TAPO, which are successfully integrated and controllable within SmartThings apps do not appear on the SIM-ON interface.
*Has anyone experienced a similar issue?
- Is this a limitation of SIM-ON cloud dashboard, only supporting Samsung-native devices?
- Or is there a configuration/API requirement on the SmartThings or SIM-ON side to expose third-party devices?
- Any other way for me to test 3rd party cloud to read device from SMARTTHINGS?
Any guidance, experience, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
As below the link picture for your references. Due to the limitation of the platform, I’m only able to share through link for the picture references
Thanks in advance!
