Schlage Connect Keypad keeps disconnecting

I have a Schlage Connect Keypad Deadbolt which I have had for a couple years now. Recently it keeps disconnecting/losing connection with my hub. The v2 Smarthings hub is no more than 12 feet away (no walls in between). What can I do to re-connect and stay connected? It has been extremely frustrating lately.

Have you changed the batteries in your lock lately? You say you’ve had the lock for a long time.

Try moving your hub away and add a buffering device in between them. The topics explains in more details why it helps. Such problems can start anytime and usually an aging chipset for firmware updates, mesh changes or interfere can make it more apparent.

FAQ: why would I need another beaming repeater if my zwave lock is already close to my hub?
