Samsung series 9 dryer won’t connect to Wi-Fi through the SmartThings App

Bought a new Samsung washer and separate dryer the washer linked into the app really easy but the dryer won’t -
1 I scan the dryer barcode on the front of the machine in the app
2 Set the location and room
3 Hold the AP button AP shows on the screen
4 ‘SmartThings wants to join Wi-Fi network “[dryer]_E30A-JT3103007E”? Press join
Says - unable to join the network [dryer] bla bla bla
Tells me to go to my iPhone setting look for [dryer]_E30A bla bla bla when I do this that network isn’t showing in my Wi-Fi settings so I can’t link it…

This forum was set up several years ago so customers could help other customers with the Samsung SmartThings home automation platform.

There is also an official support forum staffed by Samsung employees. You might get a faster answer there. :thinking:

Or they might just send you back here if they think it’s just an app issue, but since this is a new appliance, I would try there as well.
