SmartThings has already stated that custom code will continue to be supported in the legacy IDE as well.
I sure hope so. I have several device type handlers and automations. If I have to rebuild it then so be it, as long as I can keep the functionality and devices. If I lose either I’ll have to find an alternative as I have a few things I really like (and at this point, somewhat depend on.)
Yes and it says smart things formerly Samsung connect. And has a notification that is is now smart things. The smarthing app has been given old after its name. They sent the email people!!
So now how does one connect their phones as a presence sensor… that option is not available in the new update…
This may be very simple, but with the recent change now when I open the app it goes directly to the dashboard. I would really love to go straight to the devices page as the default like it would before. Not seeing an option for this in the settings. As I switch bluetooth devices often. Any help?
