New SmartThings App on my Android Phone?

For years I’ve been using my SmartThings HUB with the app on my phone that is a blue circle with white center, is this the SmartThings Classic app?

Is the new SmartThing app, circle with give circles around it, something we are supposed to migrate to? Since they didn’t change the name what should we refer to this app as?

If there are great benefits of moving, how do I move my HUB and all SmartApps over?

Don’t migrate until you get an individual message from support telling you to do so. There is a lot of functionality still missing from the new app. The current name for the new app is “SmartThings (Samsung Connect)” which we usually abbreviate in the forum as STSC.

I just found the new Smartthings app yesterday. I have installed it, but when I try to use it, it is requiring me to set it up like its brand new. It is asking for the welcome code, which I am pretty sure I threw the box away. I read that I can reset my welcome code but I do not want to do all that. I do not want to have to install and configure all my devices and all of my apps. That seems ridiculous to me. Any ideas how to get to use the new app without having to start from scratch?
