Rule Machine still running routines in background?

I have my Trane Thermostat connected to Smartthings and had routines setup on Rule Machine but several ears ago it disappeared, however I believe that it is still controlling some Heat settings on the thermostat as I get temperature changes that are not in any of my currant routines? Is there some way to cancel or change these settings?

Thanks for any help!

Rule Machine was a groovy smart app. Groovy has been shutdown on the platform for several years.

Hi @rsriley1972

The team has requested some additional information so we can continue investigating this issue.

Could you please provide access to your account:

  1. Confirm the email account registered in the forum is the same one you use for SmartThings. If not, please share it with me over DM.
  2. Enable support access to your account:

  2. Log in to your Samsung Account
  3. Select Menu (â‹®) and choose Settings

  5. Select the time period and confirm - In this step, please select “Until turned off”, once the team finishes, we’ll let you know so you can disable it again.

Hi,

We don’t see any Linked Service with the name “Rule Machine” on your account. However, we did notice that your device is connected through a Webhook SmartApp.

Can you confirm if the model you’re using connects only via Wi-Fi? In the device catalog, we can see that the brand “Trane” also has a Z-Wave Thermostat option available.

To investigate further and better understand what might be happening, we’ll need the following information:

  • A detailed description of the behavior (for example, does the temperature change to a specific number? Is it always the same value?)
  • A timestamp of when the issue occurs (please include date, time, and timezone)

With these details, we’ll be able to take a deeper look.
