Hello, I am using my doorbell in a basic ST routine, the idea is that, if movement is detected by the doorbell, ST must turn on the front door light.
For some reason, this is not happening, even if RING is clearly picking up the movement.
I tested the same routine using an ikea movement sensor and it all works fine.
Any ideas?
What model is yhe doorbell? You may want to make sure its compatible with smartthimgs. Not all ring products work with smartthings.

Is it video doorbell 3 plus?
The only other thing that i can think of is trying another type of routine to make sure the doorbell works correctly. You could try having the porch light go on after the doorbell is pressed.
