Reset Samsung Hub (ET-WV525) and Now I Can’t Re add it

We’ve received other reports of not being able to add these hubs to SmartThings so, I want to confirm it’s the same behavior we reported.

  1. We know you reset your hub to try to add it again. What happens when you do it?

For example: The process starts but it gets stuck in the last step and it says it has completed about 69% and then a “network error” appears.

  1. Confirm the email account registered in the forum is the same one you use for SmartThings. If not, please share it with me over DM
  2. Enable support access to your account:
  1. Go to the SmartThings Web (my.smartthings.com)
  2. Log in to your Samsung Account
  3. Select Menu (⋮) and choose Settings
  4. Toggle on Account Data Access
  5. Select the time period and confirm - In this step, please select “Until turned off”, once the team finishes, we’ll let you know so you can disable it again.
  1. When was the last time you tried to onboard the Hub? Please share the most exact date and time you can including timezone.
  2. What color is the Hub’s LED blinking on?
