What mode should it have been in? Do you have any rules or routines that a making changes?
No rules routines or anything that Iām aware of it should have been in HEAT mode.
The outside temp was in the 20 degree Fahrenheit range and it got down to 59 indoors havenāt seen this before and Iāve had the nest for about 3 years or so
Iām sorry about this⦠We have been seeing weird issues⦠There is nothing in the code to trigger a change without either manual input or a rule or routine. Iām investigating now.
No worries Iām not bothered by it⦠Just wondering if I was missing something or?
I am seeing some some oddities with the home/away. Iām also seeing scheduling failures all over my ST logs for various apps.
You are not crazy⦠Iām seeing all of the issues. This has something to do with Device state. Itās like itās using the last data sent before whatever the current data is.
me too. This is an ST failure because Iām seeing it in a lot of the installed apps
Iām working on optimizing the things as we speak.

They are rolling out their improved scheduling today.
I thought that was yesterday? Nest Manager was running on the new scheduler when the made the announcement yesterday.
it was yesterday they stated in the status thread that they already started it yesterday.,
The term ābeganā makes me think not everyone has it yet.
I have read through a lot of the posts and see posts related to issues with the set temperatures not appearing accurately in the NM but havenāt seen a resolution or that it is a known issue on the wikiā¦this is happening for both of my thermostats. Do you think this is related to the bigger ST issue or the device state problems mentioned?
Itās honestly hard to say⦠Could you PM some screenshots with comparisons of the actual data vs what the ST Device is showing?
Will doā¦looks like one is accurate and one isnātā¦running to a meeting will PM in a few. Thanks!
Not sure how widespread it is, yesterday was the first day I heard about mismatched temperatures. Something is changing.
Also check the raw response from the smartApp under viewNest API and the state data under diagnostics (look for last updated)
Iām testing moving everything the app to use atomicState to see if it helps
Just to update on mine. It still is not working but it is holding the settings I changed it to last night. Shows current temp is 67, heating set to 76, cooling set to 86. All day yesterday it kept reverting back to heating set to 66 and cooling set to 83 within a couple of seconds of making a change.
I dont think the humidity is updating in your app. I have not seen the humidity budge from 40% even wit ha humidifier running in the house.
Uploadingā¦
Iāve working through some bugs but I have an update coming to hopefully resolve this type of issues.
