Problems With SHM/Routines

Is it still not working for you? Everything is functional for me now. It started working again last night.

My SHM did not change from Arm (Away) to Disarm as it normally does yesterday. When I left today I see it went to Arm (Away), will have to see if it functions normal when I get home from work. This is the 2nd time in about a month that I’ve noticed this.

My SHM is not firing properly for the past 2 days and it is still showing an Intruder Alert that I Caused by opening the back door. (FYI, I canceled it, BUT it is still showing as INTRUDER!) @Tyler, can you look into this. Ticket already entered.

I had to dismiss intruder alerts 3-4 times before they’d go away. This was in issue before the latest app update, but cropped up again for me. So for now, I removed all SHM things from the ā€œSecurityā€ section.

The problem is, that there is nothing to dismiss and the Alert is still showing.


I’m still getting the spinning circle. Uninstall/reinstall, update, refresh, throw phone off bridge - none of these fix the issue. IDE shows different status but SHM app has been rendered useless. I already have an open ticket with support that I requested the escalate to ā€˜Dev’ to fix. I see they just updated the status page and admitted to an issue - lets see how long it takes to resolve. Last full system outage resolution time was 24+ hours. My ticket was opened on March 3rd, so we’re waaaaaaay past that.

Yea I get the routine running and says it completes but no actions happen.

it worked for me this morning. when click on Routine it Disarmed and turned of cameras inside the house… hope it works and nothing will be broken agian while fixing this issue.

i have blink cameras. Rboy create smartapp for them. i am turning on at night and turning off at morning.

I would recommend that you don’t control Blink cameras via the HH actions. I use the Smart Lighting to turn them On/Off for Sunrise/Sundown.

This must mean they are close to having it fixed! They only open a status ticket if they can quickly close it later that day so it ā€œappearsā€ they are diligently working the issue.

Either way glad it’s finally getting attention.

I am getting a ton of these messages in Logging…for the last couple of days…anyone else seeing these: (Hello Home)

Suffering from the same issue as @tobycth3 , uninstall and reinstall of SHM usually lets me use it for a day and then its back doing its thing…

Tim, I have to ask. When issues like this happen, why don’t you guys simply roll-back to the last know working code? It feels like Devs just randomly push code in production and try to live troubleshoot it. Rather then keeping the system in a degraded state you should collect logs, rollback code and debug it offline. At least this way the system would be back operational.

When that’s an option, that’s what we do. That is not always an option, such is the case today.
