This seems like a major outage. North-East representing!
Out here too in 2 homes, NJ and NY
In Canada here, Classic App not loading at all, new one shows all devices as status unknown. Some of my Webcore pistons are still firing tho.
New update…
Investigating - Some users in the Americas may be experiencing issues loading locations via the new and Classic SmartThings apps as well as the web interface. Issues controlling devices, creating automations, controlling SmartThings Home Monitor, and device health status updates have been identified. We are investigating and will provide updates as they are available.
My app is now loading but still no device control. I can also login to IDE
I was just able to turn off devices with Google home.
I am pretty sure the server are in the Ukraine
Can log back in now. Parts of the app like rooms and device status is slow. Can see activity logs for devices and turn things on and off. Alexa integration seems to be restored for me.
Update - Back online at about 08:15
Here in SoCal my Classic app is dead and none of my lighting automations (which were created int he New app) are working. I can control some things using the New app however.
Gonna order a Hubitat today and start the transition.
Me me me me!
Worst time for this ever.

Like most, I’m back online (south central Texas). Last thing, seemingly, to work was the Classic App on my phone.
When I tried to open it during the outage, it went to the login page, then failed. After the outage, I still had to login and it was flagged as “A new device just signed in to your Samsung account”
Maybe the folks noting they are throwing the whole thing in the trash will come in off the ledge now.
All is back on for me in TX.
Things aren’t pretty in the UK either, though perhaps I’m classed as being in the Americas because of the shard I was assigned to. I’ve had to disable a number of automations because every time I changed the location or security mode, an automation was incorrectly firing and changing them straight back again. IDE and ActionTiles can read my presence sensors just fine, but the new app and the automations are getting it wrong.
Yeah, it’s an outage like this and it’s timing that really hurts. I was already gone for work, so my presence was set properly; but not for my wife who left during the outage and her presence wasn’t updated. The effect of that is now the location’s mode isn’t set properly, which means Automations and other stuff didn’t kick in, but at least I can handle that through the app. Painful nonetheless. Woe our first world problems…
Is the system fully up? When I left my house this morning the system was up and when I returned the system was down. As of right now everything appears to be working for me except the presence sensors… which still indicates I’m not present. I am using both my Android and Life360 and both are saying I’m not present at the moment. Do I need to restart my hub?
