I have been using Smartthings with a Osram model 73693 (A19 RGBW) for a few years. Today, it accidentally got reset and now it will not reconnect to Smartthings. I put the bulb into connect mode (blinks Red, Green, Blue then stops on White) then tell smartthings to find new devices. After a few seconds the bulb blinks three times. The search for new devices continues for another minute or so and then reports “No Devices Found”. Clearly something happened between the bulb and the hub, but for the life of me I can’t get this bulb to reconnect. (My hub is quite a few years old, purchased in 2016, model STH-ETH-250) Any suggestions?
Have you tried factory resetting the bulb?
Is there a QR code you can scan vs just doing a Scan Nearby?
I’ve tried cycling power to the bulb for three seconds, five times, which I believe is a factory reset. Correct me if I’m wrong. Unfortunately the bulb does not have a QR code on it.
Hi @William_Larson , I used to have these bulbs a while back, and they were very, very difficult to get to join ST back in the days of Groovy based device handlers. Now with Edge drivers, it could be that the device’s fingerprint isn’t in the driver; but, looking at ST’s code in Github, that doesn’t seem to be the case. It could also be that these bulbs take too long to go through the configure stage and fail for some reason.
Once thing you can do is use the ST CLI and spin up logging for that Edge driver and watch for the join process of the bulb and look for any errors thrown out during that process.
