OSRAM Lightify garden lights won't connect to ST hub

Hello,

I purchased 3 sets of the OSRAM Garden RGB lights from the recent Amazon deal.

When I plug the lights in, they blink 2-3 times, which from reading, indicates that they are not associated to anything.

I set my SmartThings app to scan for new devices, but they are never picked up. I have them 5 feet from the ST hub, set the app to scan for new devices, then plug them in. Nada. nothing.

I’ve tried all 3 sets. None of them want to connect. What am I doing wrong?

run through the steps to manually reset them and try again, do you have the lightify gateway? You can try updating the firmware on them to see if that resolves the connection issue

Sometimes they are linked as a unidentified thing. Look in the IDE, and then edit the name.

Thanks for the responses. Nothing seems to get any of the 3 sets I bought to be recognized by the ST hub. I ordered the OSRAM gateway, we’ll see if it works with that, update the firmware on the controllers, and try again with ST.

If you havent done it, do the zigbee reset on them while scanning. It always seems to take me 3 or 4 tries to get them or almost anything to pair. Do the on/off resets while the app is scanning, once the lights flash confirming a reset then it usually works. havent seen much issue with that process.

That was it! Thank you, Kevin!

As soon as the lights flashed for the reset, the ST hub picked them up!
