Correct. I mean the device tiles that show up in the (new) smartthings app.
Thereās a snapshot icon on the device in the ST app. Click it and it takes a still and saves it to your phone. At least on iOS it does. Problem is, with no access from SmartApps or Automations, itās kinda useless. Hope it changes at some point.
Not seeing anything to take a snapshot on Android. In the device tile or the live camera view?
Ah. Got it. I swear I tapped that and it did nothing. Function was not obvious, imo.
Did your cameras all integrate with the names they have in the Nest app?
Four out of my six were added as āOutdoorā, the camera model, I guess. Iāve renamed them in the SmartThings app but they still show as āOutdoorā in the integration manager.
Yeah, thereās no real feedback when tapping from what I recall.
EDIT: Just tried again. I get a message at the bottom of the phone screen that says screen captured.
Yes, all the same as the Nest app.

All the correct camera names show up in the Google web page used to manage permissions.
Itās interesting that I have rooms in SmartThings named Garage, Outdoor, and Master Bedroom. I initially put the cameras in the Outdoor room. Also tried Kitchen. Didnāt change anything. Camera names are somehow getting crossed up with room names.
While setting up I see a message about ānot certified in the United Statesā
Can you change the name in the smart things app?
Issues with Nest Thermostat:
- No logs within device.
- Device not available in IDE
- state shows as idle even the heating is on
- Automation did not trigger when they were supposed to.
Is this something observed by anyone else?
Bummer! Iām an actiontiles user and have been waiting for this integration for a long time. This only being able in the ST app is just as bad the Nest app itself :). I hope they open this up.
Yay, now I have my nest hello doorbell integrated with Alexa for announcements when the doorbell is pressed and auto show live video on my echo shows when pressed 
So I added my Nest door bell to smart things but now my Samsung family hub smart fridge RF56M9540SR/EU doesnāt even ring or show the video feed when the door bell is pressed.
Doesnāt seem to work for me on the TV. Linked my google account and the cameras appear in SmartThings app but no video feed ever loads. This is on a Samsung Frame TV. Iāve raised a support ticket. Really hope they can sort it. But if anyone has any ideasā¦
Yes. That changes the tile names and also is used when saving snapshots. So thatās good.
But whatās displayed when I look at the Linked Service is the names as imported.
When I click thru to the Google Nest Partner Connection Manager the names are correct, which is to be expected.
I donāt guess the Service page is doing anything useful.
Wow, I waited so long for this integration only for it not to work with webcore? Itās basically useless to meā¦
Sameā¦ 2020 Frame tv. Added nest doorbell only to come up as blank. Frustrating!
I was able to add my cameras, but not my Thermostat, any suggestions?
After reaching out to Nest customer service via live chat, I was able to solve my own issue. If you donāt have some devices showing up in SmartThings that should, itās most likely a cache issue on your phone. I was able to resolve the issue by restarting my Thermostat (by pressing it down for 10 seconds) and reinstalling the following apps: SmartThings, Nest, Google Home. Once I re-logged into each app and re-synced Nest with SmartThings, all of my devices appeared as expected. Hope this helps other people!
