Looks like it healed itself. Now all my smart apps are firing again. Don’t know what happened but I wasn’t the only one.
Hey Everyone,
Just curious if anyone else is having issues with the smarthings routines not working. Recently I have been noticing that my goodbye and I’m back routines are not working. The smartthings app shows that my iPhone set up as a proximity sensor is registering when I leave and arrive although it is not triggering the routines to turn on or off lights in the house. Not sure if there is a fix for this or if a recent update or outage caused this issue. If anyone has suggestions or insight on this issue it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Brian
Hi all,
I noticed something which is annoying me.
I have recently just changed from Fibaro HCL to ST Hub V2.
When I go to my TKB Z-Wave On/Off plug and press the button on it, the lamp attached comes on. However, my ST iPhone App is still showing the device as OFF. So now there is a conflict of states.
However, when I use the App to turn the device On & Off, the status is correct.
Fibaro HCL used to instantaneously update the status of the device on the Fibaro App to show its true and current state.
Is this not the case with ST?
Its leading me to a concern over the fact that I can’t trust the Device Status of anything in the App when devices are locally manipulated?
The larger concern is that I am developing a product that will connect via hard-wired I/O to Z-Wave and/or Zigbee and…
I tried all of that. Does the zwave repair notify you when it’s finnished? I just kept going. Anyway, I had to exclude the switch and reconnect it for it to work again. I have never had any issue with my switches until yesterday.
It is terrible that SmartThings performs changes on the Server Side without some type of notification. There should at least be a page which lists the updates being performed so when they break things (notice I didn’t say if) we can identify the update that caused it.
