I have an xfinity router/modem through comcast.
How would I check to see if I have a double NAT setup?
I cannot turn off either ipv4 or 6 but I can disable the firewall under both of them which I have done
I do have hte newest hub v3
If it is an all-in-one single modem/router unit, you wonât have a double NAT issue.

Guys it was the comcast modem/router that was the issue!! OMG such a relief.
Something was not set right and I ended up going out and buying a new Netgear Nighthawk router/modem combo. I realized it was problem the old router because I purchased an amazon dot echo with the hub during Amazons 0.99$ sale for the echo dot and tried to connect that while I was pondering the ST Hub and kept running into the same issues as the ST hub. Too many similar issues for it to simply be a coincidence.
I am relieved right now to see that it is in fact connected and work on downloading/updating the firmware on the ST hub.
I do greatly appreciate everyoneâs help with me and getting this setup.
