Need help with Z-Wave Configuration

I tried pairing my z-thermostat into smarthings hub . they have detected them as energy meter and doesnt give me much options to control the device from my app

Based on internet search it says that driver needs to be updated correctly. any help on this is appreciated.

Just open the link and follow the steps as they are presented.

Once the driver is installed try switching the driver via the mobile app. 3 dots in upper right corner > driver > switch driver > select the “Mc” driver.

Tried that however I don’t get the driver available for installation

Select different driver is enabled and no drivers are shown

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers also

Are you saying you don’t get an option to install the “Z-Wave Thermostat Mc” driver when you go to the supplied link?

Or are you saying you installed the driver and you don’t see it listed under the list of installed drivers on your hub? To view a list installed drivers in the mobile app, open the hub tile > 3 dots in upper right > select drivers

Or are you saying the driver is installed on your hub, but you can’t see it when trying to change drivers?

Ok, so that means the driver doesn’t contain your devices fingerprints or the the fingerprints are all 00000’s.

Post a screenshot shot of your device information. In the mobile app, open the device tile > 3 dots in upper right > select information.

One is of the hub and the other one is of the Z-Wave Thermostat.

So the thermostat doesn’t have all 0’s for the model so it is properly paired which is a good thing.

This means the driver doesn’t contain your fingerprints.

You try the edge drive builder and if that works. It is pretty simple to use. See link below.
