Do you like these August locks over some of the other brands? I’m about to replace a couple of exterior doors in my house and want to do it with smart locks. One is the front door and one is the door to the garage any recommendations?
Interesting. I have a friend whose house has four different kinds of locks. (don’t ask me why, it’s not my house). The Yale Assure with August is the only one that does stay connected. And she’s had it at least a year.
I suspect it’s a combination of architecture (garages are always tricky and doors are often in a space where there’s either extra reinforcement or extra walls) and local Wi-Fi interference with other devices, such as security cameras.
