I previously had multiple Sengled LEDs loaded on my Smart Things app. I had to reset my hub and application since I moved to a new house with a new router SSID and PW. After the reset I was able to easily load all of my leak sensors onto the hub/app but I cannot get any of my Sengled LEDs to pair up and load to the application. I have tried scanning the QR code, loading from the menu with the Sengled devices and no luck getting them to pair. Any suggestions on how to get this working?
Zigbee or WiFi? Did you reset the bulbs before you tried to add them?
I followed the reset recommendation 10 rapid on ofs but the bulbs never blinked to show they were in pairing mode. I then turned them on and off three times with no improvement. I have two different Sengled LEDs and they all don’t seem to reset.
I have had problems before with the Sengled bulbs going off line but getting them back on line was relatively easy. Something now I am doing or they are doing does not seem to work.
The LED bulbs are Zigbee.
I find the repeated off/on reset mechanism difficult to get right.
In the Ikea case it is 6 off/on and it often takes me several goes to get the bulb to indicate it is reset. Starting with the bulb on, I switch off for a fraction of a second, and leave on for slightly longer (almost a second). Repeat the necessary number of 'off’s to finish in the ‘on’ state.
That is just what works for me. I recommend you keep trying.
