Invited Family User can't do anything with Smarttag2 devices

I added a half dozen Samsung Smarttag2 devices to my SmartThings. I then invited my bride with a QR code. She can see them and some cameras. But if she clicks one, it says: “The owner needs to share it with you in smart things find“. I’ve done lots of clicking around and see no “share” option. Permissions on her user is Full Access. I already tried removing her and adding it back once, but no love.

Anyone have any suggestions?

ST Find→Scroll to Tag→3 dot menu→Sharing Location

  • Open the details page for a tag in your app.
  • Click View map to open the tag in the Find app.
  • Click … to see more options.
  • Click on Sharing location even though it looks like a link.
  • Enable Share location with members.
  • Repeat for all tags (you can also select tags within Find).

They’ve revamped the Find app recently to present the tag options as an extended dialogue box on the map instead of a whole page and combine the two types of location sharing. I’m not convinced it is an improvement.

It used to be the case that the first time you opened a tag in the Find app you would be nagged to do the share but I don’t know if that is still the case.
