I paired twice the a sensor to smarthings but im still getting only air quality/good in the app but none of the other #’s appear. Anyone else having this issue?
Works like a charm here.
Log in here, take screenshots from the whole page and post them here.
The JSON of the device would be helpful too.
@Andreas_Roedl thank you very much for your help. I was resetting the air sensor a few times & came across one of the other threads where you helped someone & that person switched deivers & then it worked. I did the same & now if appears.
Hi! I´m having the same issue and read also the other topics here. I found out that Matter Sensor is the correct driver. I deleted and added the Alpstuga now several times, i made also a full reset. I tried it with pairing mode and also without. I waited also until it showed correct data on ots display and added it with this waiting time. NO CHANCE! I don´t get the values and it says, that it has connection problems. It has the software version 1.0.13.
Do you have any idea, what i can try?
Thanks
Switch to the Matter Switch driver and back to the Matter Sensor driver.
Device card → three dots → driver → …
Not for real! It works for me too! Thank you @Andreas_Roedl ! That was the only thing i did´nt tried.
Probably timing issues.
I have two of them and I haven’t had this problem.
Fun fact: you can switch to the Matter Switch driver, turn off the display and switch back to the Matter Sensor driver.
Useless features are always great
. Appreciate your help here very much!
I had the same problem. They told me go into settings, switch the driver and then switch back.
Try & factory reset the sensor.
Do you have a matter switch ?
I have the driver available because I added some matter switches to my hub.
This did the trick! I coincidentally just bought some Matter switches. After adding a switch, I was able to change the Alpstuga driver to “Matter Switch“. Changing it back to “Matter Sensor” now shows the pm2.5 and CO2 levels. Thanks all!
It is possible to pre-install production version drivers on the ST hub.
This is the invitation link for the production/default drivers Invitation Link
Each time I open the device page I get a popup message saying “This device hasn’t updated all of its status information yet. Check again later.”
Looks like my “Carbon Dioxide level” isn’t loading yet, even though I do see it in other screenshots above. I noticed the manual says “After plugging the product in, it may take up to 12 hours for an accurate CO₂ level reading,” so maybe I need to wait a day.
After several days with only “Air quality level” ever loading, I factory reset the sensor this morning. That still didn’t fix it, and I finally found this forum thread and learned about the need for the Matter Switch driver and the link to install it from @TapioX. I swapped the driver to Matter Switch then back to Matter Sensor and finally got status. Just that one error message and missing field still.
Ah-hah, after waiting a day the popup has disappeared and I see “Good” for CO2 levels.
Thanks for the link! Installed Matter Switch driver and swapped my Alpstuga to it. After changing back to Matter Sensor, it worked perfectly and began showing sensor readouts rather than just “Good” status in SmartThings. I appreciate it!
Apropos. My Alpstuge can be offline without me knowing.
I was warned because I saw on the device itselve that the clock was incorrect.
That is a real problem. Being offline, not responsive, while Smartthings app or Samsung Advanced” say online.

Then I unplugged it and brought to an other location. Much closer to the hub. And ,when unplugged, ST hub gave offline, which is ok, and now online.
Apropos. There is a Zwave plug there which never went offline, even behind a steel door.
So replacing my Zwaves, which I intend to do, may take some research. I will need hubs or plugs in between. No way for long distances.
