I was curious if the corrosion from the leaky batteries had made it past the battery bay, but didn’t see much online regarding how to take apart the hub, so I made this video.

@JDRoberts will you tag the link to this and put it in the wiki… Maybe as a new subject… “hardware maintenance”. We can add to it any other things dealing with hardware.
It’s a wiki, you guys can add whatever you want to it. 
If it was me, I’d probably put it in as a “how to” article, but that’s up to you.
