Hello - we setup the SmartThings hub in our vacation home. Everything was working great and we could see everything via the app. However, now everything is showing offline and I can’t connect to the hub. When I try to go to ‘Diagnostics’ it tells me that I need to put my phone close to the hub. There must be a way to reset this remotely??? Also, I know we have power as our neighbor checked for us.
But do you have Internet?
Can you confirm whether/not your internet at that location is operational (i.e. check status with ISP) ?
If it is, and you have Remote Access to your Router, you could try rebooting your Router remotely and see if the SmartThings Hub comes back online.
In the future, you could get a Shelly SmartPlug and plug the SmartThings Hub into it. Then as long as you have Internet, you can turn the plug on/off with the Shelly App (completely separate from SmartThings).
