See below for more specific details about the update.

  • 0.48.5

Hub Target

  • Samsung SmartThings Hub 2015 (Hub v2)
  • Samsung SmartThings Hub 2018 (Hub v3)

  • Release Date: June 30th, 2023

Release Notes

  • Fixed a rare issue where LAN Drivers/Devices become unresponsive. If you had encountered this issue, you would have needed to reboot your Hub to fix the problem.

Would be nice to have that “Reboot hub” button the Advanced User App web page (like the IDE)

Looks like I am now on 48.5. Any change log?

That’s for .4 but we need .5 though. Is there a separate thread? I wonder if .5 fixes the zigbee device issues because I’ve had none since getting this update.

That is the same release notes for 48.4. They edited that page to 48.5, but didn’t specify what the difference from .4 to .5 is. Hard to verify everything is working correctly w/o knowing what to look for.

48.5 is the same in terms of normal 48.4 runtime software; we found and are patching an additional issue related to potential excess flash usage from storing diagnostic information if specific parts of the hub software experience a crash/abort. Sorry for the confusion.

Update the title to suggest the change over the weekend from 0.48.4 to 0.48.5.

I received fw 4.3 then 4.5within the the last few hours
nowall of Z-Wave devices including go control Z-Wave motion and door window sensors and Some sirens are no longer accessible in smartthings. They don’t even show offline when I click on any of them it tells me it was unable to communicate with the device. I started seeing this behavior about 1:30 minutes ago 2:09 est. I checked the firmware and sure enough it was running 48.3 the about an hour later it was 48.5. I need help getting this resolved because now all of my doors and windows are unprotected I have no way of knowing if they are open or closed without visual inspection. Since all the motion sensors are not available all of my motion based automations for lighting and presence based rules no longer work. This is an absolute mess.
