Help Us Help You
As part of our Beta program, it is important for our support team to investigate logs from Hubs running that are reporting errors. To provide our team access, please follow these instructions:
I still seem to have issues with a couple zwave locks disconnecting even with a range extender. Also, 2 zigbee rgbw controllers disconnect frequently aswell.
Thank you @Jason_Silva for your communication. This information is important for us to hear from you on. It’s important to me that you know, that I was able to create an internal ticket for this report. We have the necessary information to proceed. If that changes we will reach out.
Please allow us to delete unnecessary drivers such as the wemo, sonos, samsung audio, jbl, bose, harman and philips hue.
It seems clear that the v3 was made with not enough memory and yet we are forced to save memory for drivers for devices we may never get. I personally dont own any of those devices and i have other drivers id rather want taking up driver space.
It would be great if there was an easier way to see aswell what devices are using what drivers in a better way instead of viewing every device one at a time.
If there is a way of seeing this, please inform me with the right direction because i cant find this filet option.
One thing I am seeing at the moment since this beta update is that my Zigbee devices are no longer showing offline.
I’ve had for a long time now sensors and switches, especially those at each extreme of the house, indicating offline (although they ran in routines) in the app.
Hope it continues like this!
If I participate in the Beta will there be any fixes to try for the Mesh network optimization problem? I have 4 Smartthings Wifi Hubs and the ‘optimizing/checking’ on the app shows a ‘-’ now for some time, I am pretty sure my mesh network isn’t working very well or at all.
This thread is for the v2/v3/aeotec hubs. Just to confirm… you have one of the Samsung Connect Home/SmartThings WiFi Hub with Plume models? I have never seen ST have Beta firmware for those models. If you have the v2/v2/aeotec hub… excuse the interruption.
I had the update about half an hour or so ago. About ten to fifteen minutes ago I noticed all my IKEA On/Off Buttons on the hub were marked offline.
I power cycled the hub and they were joined by a Sonoff button plus two or three outlets, but the outlets came back online quickly. Pressing each button brought them all back online again and everything seems to have survived another power cycle.
Just mentioning this because I never normally notice the updates.
