Hi, @danilo.vfer
We have your ticket #1497948 so, there’s already an investigation in progress about your issue. We’ll continue the support there. Thanks!
Thanks for invertigating.
There is som any issues with my system. I managed to add the second sub hub by Backhaul ethernet. Having said this it doesn’t show on smarthings but it works because now i am getting internet on the other side of the house. Having said this I can not add any of the smarthings devices because it wont let me add the samsung motion sensors (Hue Lights work fine and a couple of other devices).
I’ve given up trying to contact support. I am in Australia and I keep getting the round around (is not the US, contact them via the app, I do that and then i get to the US and then is groundhog day.
I have lost all hope.
Tx.
David

Hi @xuhaoorvibo
I have sent you a message, I will continue supporting you there ![]()
Hi Alejandro,
Can we please have some transparency here, as we all have the same issue.
My network has been down for a long time now, and we still hope you guys will provide a solution as soon as possible.
Both of my hubs are down. One stopped updating last year @ version 43.005 and the second stopped working a few months back, generating the same "bad request error / does not support edge drivers.
None of them work as Smartthings hubs, so no Zigbee / Z-Wave networks. The only thing that works is the Wi-Fi network.
Thanks,
Hi, @ecobiax.
We check each case separately because we’re not sure at the beginning it is the exact same issue. Also, we request some private info that cannot be discussed publicly.
All issues reported here are included in the corresponding ticket based on the similarities among them. In your case, we were going to see if the firmware update helped but unfortunately, it was paused as some issues were detected, you can see more info in this section of the SmartThings status page:
We keep each case in mind and will ping the corresponding engineering team to see if there is any update.
Thank you for your support Nayelyz, and kudos to your team.
Both hubs have updated to the latest firmware and the drivers options are now available.
I have had my Samsung V2 hub for years and its been brilliant.
However, since last night I am getting started getting the 400 error.
All my devices associated with my edge drivers have disappeared!! and I cannot install a driver!
The driver uploads and published to my channel fine but when installing in in my hub I get the error
Request failed with status code 400 Hub does not support edge drivers.
PLEASE HELP.
MY SMARTHOME IS BROKEN!!

I have also provided Account Data Access.
Many Thanks Tim
Hi, I am having this issue with my hub as well. The firmware is 000.048.00005 and i am using this same email address and have enabled data access for support for 1 week.
… 895",“error”:{“code”:“BadRequestError”,“message”:“Hub (Hub v2) does not support edge drivers”…
I only have the Zooz edge drivers but tried using both the web ui and the cli. same result.
Hi @Bret_Holstein Welcome to SmartThings Community
let me check it ![]()
Thanks! Let me know if there is any action I need to take.
Thanks, again.

Hello. I am having an issue with my smartthings hub that it will not support edge drivers.
“BadRequestError: Hub (My home Hub) does not support edge drivers”
Any help would be great. My email is the same for both the forum and ST. I am not sure what the firmware level is because it is blank in the section on the web interface.
Thanks!
How many drivers do you have installed?
Which model hub do you have? Is this a new hub you purchased or a used hub? Does the firmware show in the app, by chance… I doubt it would but just want to check.
I bought the hub from someone recently. She had factory reset it, and I have it setup on my network via lan connection. I have not installed any drivers.
I do not see the hub in the app though I’m not sure where to look other than devices.
I do see the hub in my online smartthings account. The hardware version appears to be a V2_HUB.
check the bottom of the hub… the model number should be on the label.
try a factory reset again in case the previous owner did not properly reset it:
here is the procedure for a full reset of a V2:
- unplug the power cord but leave Ethernet plugged in
- Remove the batteries if using.
- Insert a pin in the reset slot on the back of the hub
- While continuing to press the pin in the reset slot, insert the power cord
- When you see the solid yellow on the led on the front of the hub… remove the pin from the reset slot
- Wait about 10 minutes until it contacts ST servers and downloads any needed firmware.
- Add hub to ST app within 30 minutes to avoid the timeout or else you need to repeat
if you continue having the same issue… ask your friend when is the last time she used the hub… that might lead us to what is going on… especially since you indicated the firmware version is blank in the Advanced Web App… is that correct?
Thanks! I looked at the label and it is STH-ETH-250. I’m not sure if i can still reach the lady but will check with my wife.
I’ll do the reset procedure later tonight. After i reset it, should i try to add the hub using the app or the web site? Should i try to update the drivers or firmware to a basic level?
Ultimately i hope to install the drivers for “Harmony Bridge Simple V2” so i can again use my harmony remote to control smarthings devices. Thanks again.
