I want to use the Sonoff Leak sensor SNZB-05P as a dry contact input sensor (by soldering wires to its contacts). Everything’s good except for the default Leak notification by Smartthings that I have to way to turn off.
Is there a way to turn it off?
Or a way to change the device type of the sensor from “Leak sensor” to “contact sensor”?

It used to be possible by going into the Notification settings in the app and turning off notifications for the device. The same was true for any default notifications that seemed to come from nowhere.
Leak detection is confusing. There are two places to control notifications outside of routines- One is the regular notifications and the other is the Home monitoring app. A bit of trial and error for me to get it working as I liked.
