Honeywell Thermostat not (completely) responding

is resume program working for you?

I did several tests yesterday before implementing my setpoint scheme and, with nothing but a resume command, the logs threw an error (although I can’t remember exactly what it said).

I was having issues with my 9000 series which is setup to control a heating only system. Through debugging, I enabled the cooling options on my thermostat, and voila, everything works.

My guess is the Honeywell API has changed the validation criteria for setting a cooling set point when you don’t have cooling enabled, and the Device Handler sends one no matter what,

following. while things seem to work, it’s extremely slow and requires me to back out and back in to the Thermostat Thing to see updates.

Thanks, Rob! I just tried this and it does make everything work. I can control the thermostat through ST and Google Home again. It does take 10-20 seconds before the thermostat updates.
