I have a Honeywell Wi-fi 9000 series thermostat. Thermostat works fine with the native TCC app but when I try to integrate it with smartthings - I cant. When I try with the classic app through marketplace -> thermostat -> all I get is a blank screen. When I try with the new Samsung app I get to the point where I select Total Connect Comfort -> location -> room -> I get “Something went wrong. Please try to install the SmartApp again”. I try again and get the same thing. I have searched all over this forum looking for an answer. I am not a coder so the GitHub stuff to use in IDE will not help me. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it without having to use someone else’s device handler code or without having to code anything. Any help or nudge in the right direction would greatly be appreciated. Thanks
It’s on the official compatibility list, so it should work out of the box.
I’m sure that’s very frustrating. Have you contacted support? They should be able to help. Most people report getting faster service if they use the phone line rather than email.
If you sign in at https://account.smartthings.com/ are you redirected to https://graph-eu01-euwest1.api.smartthings.com? If your location is located there, that would explain why you don’t see the option to add in the Classic app and the error in the new app.
Yeah I have already had them change my location back to USA. Was stationed in UK when I first started a Samsung acct. I got a call on Friday saying the account was changed. Before I could not see TCC in the new app also after they changed my account location a whole slew of new Venders showed up in the app. With that being said I just checked and it is redirecting me to the EU site. I will give them a call again and see if the migration failed or if they did not completely finish it. thanks
