Home Monitoring - individualized notifications

I’m sure it’s been asked before in the past but is there any way to have in individualize notifications for security, water detection and fire. Each item having a individualized ability to pick a notification sound so it’s very specific from any other notifications that were SmartThings get for other items?

Yes for audio notifications but not for push notifications. In STHM, you can set the audio response for each detection type. Here is an example for intrusion and leak detection.

You can also send different text messages for each detection type.

Thanks for responding so quickly

I do not see where you can specifically send a specific push notification to a phone on what event is happening. I do understand and have set up for the internal notifications in the house but I would like to have a specific notification that I can assign a specific audio indicator on my phone

You turn on Push Notifications for each event type, but I don’t know of any way to customize the audio that gets played for those events.

And that is hence my quandary. So many of the push notifications to the phone are all the same so it’s hard to discern what they are specifically just by hearing the audible. But it when it comes to a break-in for the security monitor and or a fire it seems like a critical item to have a very specific sound that doesn’t sound for anything else and thus it makes you aware very quickly. We were indeed broken into years back with SmartThings announcing it but because we are half asleep it just sounds like some other event happening instead of being very specific to a very large event which should be identifiable by a notification that’s used for nothing else

You might want to consider getting a siren, which much like a smoke detector, is probably going to get your attention more than a different audio notification on your phone.

A pocket siren when out and about…

What we need is this:

ST must apply for a clearance certificate at least for iOS.

This any use ?
