I have four identical of these bulbs but one recently kept switching on randomly.
From experience an updates of the firm has a good chance of resolving the issue but having checked on IDE, I noticed the bulb in question has a different ‘application’ from others and probably because of that it has a different firmware version.
The One in question
- application: 03
- endpointId: 03
- manufacturer: OSRAM
- model: Classic A60 RGBW

You can see the Application ID, raw data description and there fore the Firmware version are different.
Perhaps I might have changed to this bulb recently but can see why ST would think this bulb is odd one out…
So my question is, how could I change the ‘model’ of this bulb back to the other? I tried to update the firmware with my Lightify Gateway but it kept stay in 0% progress then eventually stopped and the bulb would then disconnect from the gateway. Only needs to switch off them on the light to reconnect though. How odd…
Any help with this issue will be gratefully received!
Ps did try to search the forum but all off them similar posts I read would either give up or resolve with a firmware update from older to newer version. The odd one now has a different format of firmware version format altogether…
Ta!
