Help to find a tuya WiFi sensor

I need a tuya wifi device that is similar to a door sensor. But I need to be able to connect an external switch to it rather than use a switch built in. The switch needs to be in a metal box and the wifi can’t get through. So I will install an external switch and run wires to the wifi sensor to send the signal. Needs to be tuya since tuy wifi devices can work with my home automation system. Does anyone know if there is such a device and, if so, where I could get it?

I’m not sure if this is exactly what you mean, but I’m imagining a leak sensor which would serve practically the same purpose. I’m talking about one with a probe, or leads…

They work essentially the same way, being that if the leads are shorted by water, or a closed circuit, they report “wet”, or “dry” if not wet or an open circuit, which is essentially “closed” or “open” as with a contact sensor.

This forum is for people who are using the Samsung SmartThings ™ Home automation system, so all of the questions and answers are assumed to be in that context. It is not a general home automation forum.

Some of the Tuya devices work with smartthings, but I don’t think the Wi-Fi sensors do. People in this community would more commonly use the Zigbee version with a smartthings hub. So I’m not sure you’re going to get many specific answers here.
