I’m having trouble registering my hub. The light is green on the front on my hub but when I type in my welcome code into the smarthings app I simply get the error “No network connection - A network or server error occurred. Try again later.” The “tap for help” link is basically useless. Help?
New App (Samsung Connect)? Or SmartThings (Classic) App?
We recommend the latter (Classic…), but if one doesn’t work, then try the other!
Tried both and neither work. On classic i get no error on attempting to register, it just stays on the registration screen and never progresses.
As an aside, having two apps is really confusing. I found no guidance in the box or in the app that advised the recommended route. I think this experience could use work…
Be sure to express this to SmartThings Support (and on Reviews, Ratings, etc.). They’re not getting the message. Or maybe they are, but management isn’t, or maybe it’s just too late.
