Have I bought a broken 2015 hub?

I have a smartthings hub 2015

Hub has been factory reset and is connected to the internet. It first turns purple and eventually green. Hub appears on my virgin routers list of connected devices. I’ve installed and re-installed the app. I tap “+”, “device” , “wifi/hub”, “Samsung”, "Smarthings Hub 2015 (STH-ETH& Others), I add the location and tap “Next” and it goes dark for a second and returns to the "Samsung Smartthings selection screen (where I previously selected Samsung. I’ve tried different leads and networks.

Thank you for reaching out for assistance, you mentioned the Hub led indicator was Green. Is it solid green, flashing green, or double blinking green?

I would additionally recommend if you are using an Android Device, to clear the cache of your Smartthings Application and try to re-add the hub.

hub LED should settle on solid green.

while its still available, until October 14th, it might be easier to add the hub with the classic app.

It settles on steady green but occasionally turns steady blue. I’ve tried several leads and 2 different virgin routers at 2 locations.
