Has anyone been able to get Nest Protect working? I can get it working using @kmugh code here (Nest Protect Device Type) … but if I set off one of my Nest Protects (light a match under it or whatever) … I will never get notified in Smartthings. In fact, it never even shows up in the Smartthings history.
Any ideas?
I have not tested it to see if it triggers smart things. Ill have to give it a try when my Little kids are not around so i dont scare them.
You need pollster to get updates from the nest protect. With out something poling it there is no way for for it to update smartthings.
Why isn’t ST integrating nest products. I can’t seem to get protect working. Got nest thermostat working though. Which has been nice
