I now read about your hub.
My fault, that didn’t trigger problem.
Use the old app SmartThings Classic app for all not supported things.
I have a SmartThings v2, you the v3!?
Try this app to add the Gledopto controller.

Yes, I use SmartThings Classic. The video shows it
I have a resetted the CW/WW controller, see the strip flashing a few times (5x).
Disconnected the controller from the mains, started Add a Thing, powered on the controller and a few seconds later I have a new Thing.
So it goes with my v2 hub.
Now I need to change the device handler in IDE.

I make a mistake in my first post, I have the V3 hub, not V2… it seems like these controllers do not work with the V3 hubs which is odd. The Echo Plus and V3 hub use the same ZLL protocol so how is it not picking it up?
I tried the 5x reset procedure, then turning the controller off once the LEDs (strip) stop flashing and show white. Went into Smartthings Classic app and started to look for Things. Turned on the controller, which showed white LEDs (strip) and then it goes to green. Nothing picked up in the Smartthings Classic app!
Cheers
I have the same problem
I wonder which developers can make a fix for this. Samsung or Gledopto?
I have emailed SmartThings support, hopefully they can help…!
@Simon_Baxter I have the exact setup (ST Hub v3 & 2.4G Wireless RGB+CCT Zigbee Light Link GLEDOPTO controller) and problem as you. Please let me know if you get an update from ST support.
UPDATE: returned v3 hub and got v2 hub instead. Same issue.
Same issue with a completely different ZigBee ZLL RGBW controller RGBgenie - ZigBee 3.0 RGBW Controller - v2 & v3 Hub dont see it? . Pairs to hue and Vera hubs, not to SmartThings.
Just lumping on here…
GLEDOPTO RGBW Zigbee Light Link Controller.
Pairs perfectly fine (although with awkward controls) with Home Assistant and a USB ZigBee stick as well as with a Hubitat (same stick - different device).
I’m trying it out with multiple ecosystems to find out where it works best. What’s weird is that the controller acts like it pairs (after reset, ALL LEDs are lit while waiting to pair, then green when paired) but the SmartThing hubs doesn’t seem to agree.
Literally the exact same issue with the RGBgenie. Start the Hub in Discovery, the controller flashes like it paired, but nothing on the SmartThings side. Not even a catch-all message in the event log.
What version of the hub and the App are you using?
I tried it a few times to disconnect and reconnect mine and it was painless.
I have the RGB-CCT and the CW/WW version of the Gledopto controller Zigbee version.

I’m having the same issue with pairing with the Gledopto RGB-CCT ZigBee controller. I have 3 and I cannot get them to pair with my SmartThings hub V2 with either the classic or new app. When I try to add a new device the light strip with turn green like it is paired but the SmartThings hub nor the application show any indication that a new device as connected. The online logs show nothing indicating a new device was found. I have included the version info for my hub.
Firmware Version: 000.024.00011
Hardware Version: Hub v2 US
ZigBee Version: 2.7.8
Can anyone confirm success with this same setup?
Thanks
I have done all things suggested in this thread. When I reset the device it goes white then solid green. I do not see it show up in the add things window. I can get
It to show up in the hue app. Note sure what’s up. V2 hub btw
@tpmanley - I’m 99% positive this is the same issue I was having with the RGBgenie controller. The symptoms are the same…start Discovery, device thinks it paired, nothing on the hub. Maybe you can confirm it’s doing the same thing we discussed?
And in case Tom doesn’t reply there will be a fix in the way ZigBee devices are discovered in the next firmware update that should fix this issue but that’s not until like January.
I have the same problem with it
I text to the seller and they told Me it’s no more working with smartthing but it works with all the others, echo plus philips hue Ikea… So why with them yes and not with smartthings?
See what I posted above. SmartThings answer is the device is sending information incorrectly and so they are not picking it up. But it’s weird all the other vendors are. Either way it is supposed to be fixed in the near future.
Ok, thanks. Another question. If I buy a philips hue Bridge and I connect the gledopto to it after I’ll be able to use it trough smartthings?
