Download and Install the Wearable Widgets app to your phone from the Google Play Store. Then follow the instruction given in the installed app for you watch.
here is the thread for real smartthings app development
Has anyone tried to get Smarttiles on the browser of a Gear S3? Not sure if it will render properly.
I havenāt found a way of sending a clickable link to the watch, and every time I try to type out the link I lose patience or make a mistake
Something Iām playing with at the moment is the combination of Wearable Widgets and Ultimate Alexa. This enables me to (kind of) have an Alexa button widget on my Gear S3. In reality, when you tap the Alexa button on the watch, it is your phone that is listening, but it works pretty well.
I received an email from Samsung telling me the Garmin vivoactive 3 runs Smartthings including routines. Is that a slap in the face, funny or both? I use the smarter things app and it works great so no big deal to me. One can only assume (foolishly?) that the next gen gear watches will control ST. The company is so big, it wouldnāt surprise me if some other unit within Samsung announces itās getting into the smartphone business in 2018!
I feel very disappointed that neither my Gear S2, or ny S3 is supported by smartthings as they claimed they both would be.
