Ge and linear switches: LEDs mysteriously changing behavior/settings

Hello,

Has anyone else seen this?

And yes, I know how to go into the APP to set the behavior back, but it seems that in the last month the LED behavior has changed from the default of LED being on when light is off the LED being on when the light is on.

It seems to affect one switch at a time and not all switches, just a few of them.

They were doing some back end changes to the default device type handlers recently, that may be what’s going on.

Back in November for a few days on became off and off became on, which was very confusing.

So I think the first question is which device type handler were you using?

I would definitely report this to support if you haven’t already.

Problems with my GE Switches

I have been slowly automating my house. Yesterday I installed two Garadget controllers and two GE smart switches to control my outside porch and roof lights. I installed them properly according to instructions given in the manual. They are in separate bays with two other three way switches. The LED of the switches behave just opposite to each other. One lights up when the switch is on and the other lights up when the switch is off. Any ideas to why they behave differently?
