First Alert Z-Wave Plus Smoke / CO Combo Alarm is added as a contact?

This is what I’ve bought.

After I added it to smartthings, it used Z-wave Masquweade v1.01 driver and was set as a contact sensor. I can manually change to either smoke or CO sensor but there is no combo sensor option.

I changed to other deivers “Z-wave associator” or “Z-Wave Switch” and both were not working.
I saw someone said I should pair next to the hub to get the correct fingerprint. I removed it and repaired near by the hub, but still got the same issue as a contact sensor with driver Z-wave Masquweade v1.0. Any help? Thank you

Please post the a screenshot of the device details section from the ST Advanced Web App.

Are you using the Z-Wave Masquerade driver for other devices?

Thank you, the following is the screenshot and yes I do use Z-Wave Masquerade for other devices.
Also how can I tell if a driver is currently used without knowing the specific device which is from a large group of devices?

Hmmm. That fingerprint exists in the stock Z-Wave smoke detector driver:

  - id: 0138/0001/0003
    deviceLabel: First Alert Smoke Detector
    manufacturerId: 0x0138
    productType: 0x0001
    productId: 0x0003
    deviceProfileName: smoke-co-battery

Normally, I would expect that to override matching on the generic command classes that happens in the masquerade driver. However, since the point of the masquerade driver is to allow a device to act as something else, I wonder if that is coming into play?

I suspect the easiest way to do handle this would be to install the stock driver from the beta channel so that you can select it via the mobile app/AWA/CLI for your smoke detector.

You should try @Mariano_Colmenarejo 's “Z-Wave Smoke alarm-Mc” driver. It works with mine.

Yes, that would also give him the option to select a different driver which can’t be done currently since the stock drivers are not listed when changing drivers.

Thank you all @h0ckeysk8er amd @Paul_Oliver . I am using @Mariano_Colmenarejo 's “Z-Wave Smoke alarm-Mc” driver and it has resolved the issue. Thanks again!
