There is a first alert zwave smoke detector that works with ring & i am wondering if anyone knows if this.works with smarthings also. I cant find anything online. Thanks

I’ve 5 in my house using a Smartthings v2 hub. You can set up alerts if the smoke alarm / CO2 monitor go off. For me with an alarm, I turn on all connected lights, turn on 2 sirens, and call my cell (using IFTTT).

I have 4 First Alert Z-Combs working with SmartThings. I think they actually have 3 different fingerprints as I bought them over a 5 or 6 year period.

We have 4 and when alarmed they turn on all the lights in the house, turn on 2 sirens, unlock both our smart locks so anyone (like first responders) who need to get in can do so without having to break the door, and notify us plus our daughter who lives a block away. She can see our house from her place, so if we weren’t home and it was a genuine fire, she could come rescue our cats. So far, we have not needed to test this plan.
