Firmware update Wednesday

Update happened but zigbee is still 1.3.1.

000.013.00005
zigbeeFirmware: 1.3.1
zwaveVersion: 809

Do I need to do something separately to get zigbee firmware upgrade to 1.5.4?

13 was pushed out to me last week due to some issues I was trying to resolve.
Unfortunately performance took a nose dive. Lights are taking up to 10 seconds to respond to commands at times and app is extremely sluggish to point of unuseable. I feel strongly that the problems are incoincidental to the firmware upgrade and more related to the cloud connection as the wait times to load the app have slowed greatly.

My speed and reliability has improved…tentatively.

Same here

@tslagle13 I am so going to grab your cat and run if you keep on saying things keep on improving for you. ST is in love with you! Seriously! :slight_smile: they always give you a special edition of the same version we get.

Haha! Don’t you dare touch my cat! Lol

Idk man… Maybe it’s my ISP or something? I can’t explain it.

Do you know what version you were on previously?

I’m aware of no firmware changes involving the areas you’re describing. If you don’t have an open ticket with us please open one and ask for me.

Well, 10PM CST and still nothing… I have been rebooting couple times an hour, hasn’t helped.

And I seem to get the “special edition” that doesn’t upgrade. From what I can tell I am the only one whose firmware failed to upgrade.

I’m actually upbeat because I’m hoping this will flush our my Z-Wave mesh issues!!!

@mb323

Is there a failure message in your logs?

@beckwith

No failure message, just pings… lots of them…

I suspect the firmware upgrade has not been pushed to your hub yet.

Did you get an e-mail?

I just figured out we have a “maintenance window” I wasn’t in mine yet. Hoping I get updated in my “window”

Nope, sadly no email… I was getting excited, the API’s in my current version don’t appear to work… but it doesn’t look like the update is going happen anytime soon either… :frowning:

How do you know what your “maintenance window” is?

You should get an email indicating when the firmware upgrade is scheduled.

It looks like I have not received a firmware update… However a few days ago, my devices have started to act up… Bulbs not responding, opened doors alerting me when they shouldn’t, location issues, etc. I haven’t made any changes to rules, as my entire system has been running smoothly for over a month… Until now…

It’s not gen 5. Z wave dime vices with over 18 command types would not pair.

Same here except I did receive the firmware update. I was running smooth for the past month, got my firmware update, and my garage door opened out of no where, lights came on out of no where, etc. Wonderful.

Hub firmware has no bearing on your automations. If you’re experiencing issues with actions taking place when you don’t want them to it’ll be something in a SmartApp configuration. Email support@smartthings.com and we’ll help you figure out what’s going on.

@Tyler

Ok, still no update. So assuming that we are all on “The List” is there any way to get moved up on the list? I have been going over the LAN/REST API’s for two weeks now with nothing being transmitted by the hub and I want to see if the update helps.
