Is it really every Zigbee device that is reporting offline?
Diagnostically, there is a big difference between all or just some Zigbee devices not responding. In either case it is useful to try to pinpoint if there was a specific time that all or some of the devices went offline.
What has changed in your local environment? Any electronics added, moved, removed, disconnected, etc? New or moved USB 3.0 devices?
Do you have a support ticket open with SmartThings CS? If not, please open one and reference the ticket number here.
Hello! Iām having a similar issue with my Zigbee lights not working offline even though their execution method says they should. Any help would be appreciated! My email for all of my accounts is BarnettJarrall@gmail.com
Oh geezzz, after two years of no issues, my migration to the new app a month ago, just today around 1:30pm my time (I wasnāt even home), I lost all zigbee devicesā¦
Is the hard reset of the hub (mine is version 2) the best thing to try?
I have a couple of SmartPower Outlet to deal with my zigbee connectivity and they are offline.
Can anyone help with some direction? I did not open a ticket yet and no I didnāt change anything that I know ofā¦ My email for my account is eddiem5 yahoo.com if that helps.
This may sound strange but, but did you add an Echo Dot or move one? I found that having a Dot near my hub killed my Zigbee frequency at random. To make it even worse, I plugged a Dot into a USB 3.0 port in my Xbox One which is a floor below my hub. This killed Zigbee incredibly fast.
I wish that was something I did as I could fix itā¦ I have been down for a couple of downs now and nothing seems to fix itā¦ I opened a ticket and they are asking me to do the normal things I have already doneā¦ I will follow their advise and hope I get this back onlineā¦ Crazy frustrating.
As you see above when this happened to me the only fix was having my Zigbee table restored from a backup and it was @BroderickCarlin that got it done for me. I was extremely grateful when he got that done for me. To be honest though, in the end I just moved on to Hubitat. Never been happier.
Not much to say. The learning curve was fairly steep mostly with rule machine but there is a lot of help available. Everything is local so everything runs without internet. It is reliable and I can control multiple hubs with a single hub. Once I got it set up and running I rarely touch it. It just does itās thing. I donāt want to come off as bashing STās because that is not my intention. Itās not perfect but after having gone from Iris to STās and now to Hubitat, Iām just saying that I am happier with it than the others.
Thanks for your response - very much appreciatedā¦ I am going to try to get this to work againā¦ Very frustrating as I have many dollars in vested in the platformā¦
While I honestly have not moved or added nor deleted any devices, nor changed locations of any devices, I moved my V2 ST hub about 3 ft and 1 ft down today and all ,my zigbee devices went back onlineā¦
I spent hours, trying to add, delete, review devices, rebooting, resetting - UGHā¦
I finally took you suggestion and out of desperation, decided to try your crazy idea and viola, it workedā¦
I love the platform, I love the agnostic devices and I love the Samsung devices especially but this was quite a hassle this week and a big waste of timeā¦
I have racked my brain trying to figure out what I did to cause this but honestly, canāt find anything i changedā¦ In fact, the down occurred when I wasnāt even home this past Mondayā¦
In any event, thank you all for the offering of help and to Nameless for his crazy, that canāt be it BUT it fixed it suggestion!!
Iām new here to the SmartThings Community, but I was also having problems with my zigbee devices all showing as offline. I have tried soft resetting the hub, and tried to remove a Zigbee device and re-add it but it appears to be futile. Can you take a look at my account as well, itās the same email address for my SmartThings Community account.
Ditto. All zigbee devices simultaneously went offline, have deleted and tried repairing one of the devices to no avail, events log shows hub searching for z-wave, not zigbee. Communication tree is hub to each zigbee device, have rebooted hub several times with no luck. No new devices moved/placed anywhere near hub, nothing changed, zigbee just stopped working. ST Hub v2. Metrics shows last hop L/R 0/0 and 0 received, all outbound failed.
Waiting to hear back from Samsung, have gone round and round with CSR and sent in logs, still no diagnosis/solution.
Hi, I seem to be having the same problem since a few days back. Lost connection to every zigbee device. I tried rebooting, removing and re-adding devices without success. I tried to change zigbee channel but that didnāt seem to work either. My zigbee devices all show This Device (3284) ā Unknown Route (???) ā SmartThings Hub. Is there a way to reset only the zigbee network without losing all the Z-Wave devices which are working well? @BroderickCarlin you seem to be the man for this kind of issue. I would really appreciate your help on this matter.
Thanks
I believe Broderick moved to BrightAI at the beginning of this year.
I canāt offer any particular advice on your problem. Iāve seen the Unknown Route (????) quite a lot but in my case it tends to be associated with a low battery, or a Zigbee router having a bad hair day. Iāve not seen everything being totalled. Do you see the same problem if you just switch everything off and reconnect one thing at a time?
They are mostly thermostats and wall switches. I would have to shut down every breaker except for the hub and bring them back. It really looks like the zigbee controller is in a rogue state. I donāt see any log when I am in the pairing mode. I have strong 2.4 wifi signals on a channel close to the zigbee channel 20 of the hub. I tried to change it to 24 but it doesnāt seem to be working. I see that I have thermostats that have changed but the hub still shows 20.
