I can,t reset my easyTag (card Tracker Samsung only). Holding button, reinstallling software, etc, I have tried everything. This easyTag wallet was purchased this year. It used to work. Has Samsung recently updated their software and does anyone have some suggestions?
I haven’t come across the easyTag before. I see from the manual that it is like the SmartTags in that it should be reset if you delete it from the SmartThings app while it is connected, with a factory reset required if it doesn’t work. I would have thought that you shouldn’t need to ‘try everything’ to make it reset, just follow the factory reset process. It appears that for the easyTag that is five button presses and a press and hold until it beeps, all inside five seconds. Is that right?
Thank you for your email - pressing the small button on my easyTag wallet card many times very rapidly and then holding it for considerably more than five seconds works, both on my phone and tablet, now seems to work! Instructions need to be more precise, in larger print and in good English. .
