Dreaded 300 device limit. Is there a virtual multi device?

I got the dreaded error when trying to add a new device, that I reached the 300 device limit. However, I have many virtual switches and if I can somehow combine them into 1, that would drastically help. Do we know of a virtual device, that can behave like many virtual devices, similar to the Alexa multi trigger edge driver?

Thanks!

Try the Switchboard it can have up to 5 switches in 1 device.

Thanks. I’ll. Look into that. Is there another solution that can hold more?

Not that I know of.

There is the Alexa multi-switch driver if you are mostly using virtual switches to trigger Alexa routines.

Thanks. I am aware of that as well.

Not sure about the limit but I recently been experimenting with Home Assistant. Seems pretty promising, just have started playing with it. It’s pretty intense, but seems incredible from what I’ve seen so far. It looks like you can connect Almost anything into it.
I was able to connect with my SmartThings hub into it and control every thing it controls. Best thing is its PC, iOS, and Droid app compatible. And also connected to all my cameras. If you have an old desktop a Pi or a virtual machine to run it on. It’s an OS so I don’t think there is a limit to devices, automations, integrations, incorporates with Alex & Google Assistant as well.
Seems like the community is pretty strong as well for help.

I’m familiar with it. Unfortunately, at this time, I don’t have a lot of time to rebuild my smart home.

Well it took longer to download and burn image on an old small SSD , than it did to build. Doesn’t even require PC to have a monitor, mouse or keyboard, just connect to network and boot, wait about 5 min and log in from anything connected to your network. And it can be run from USB I believe.
