I just bought one from amazon and it should be delivered today. I already have an Econet shutoff installed on my main, but it doesn’t have the torque to fully open/close the valve. It gets to about ~95% and then stops. I’ll reply to the thread later on tonight when I get home to install it.

how does this compare to the zooz valve?
I don’t own the Zooz or have any experience. I took a chance on the Dome given it mounts with two pipe clamps instead of one. In my opinion two mourning points keep the unit more stable and less likely to twist on the pipe.

Yep, I was about to post the same thing… I’m not an engineer, but just looking at how much beefier the attachment point setup is on the Dome (compared to the Zooz) was most definitely a major selling point for me.

I have two on copper. No PVC. Sorry.
Mine is on copper too, but I think it would be fine on PVC - just don’t crank it down crazy tight.

Not sure where you’re looking to see that issue, but I just went to the Dome Product page and the Amazon page (where I bought mine) and there is no mention of it being discontinued. BTW, mine works great!
I looked the other day and it did say discontinued. As you note, back to available again now.

Except it’s 30 dollar shipping on their website. No thanks. Also not sure how good their return policy is if you order through the website. Does seem like a good product, I wish they may a more affordable flow meter as well.
